Rounds Seven and Eight of the Pirelli MX Nationals to host RETRO rounds at Ranch MX in Raymond Terrace this weekend.

This weekend Raymond Terrace will host rounds 7 and 8 of the Pirelli MX Nationals over a massive two days this event will bring a staggering $350,000 in to the local region with motels booked out weeks prior and restaurants to see lines out the door.
This years Retro Round, will take place this weekend at Raymond Terrace, were we are set to see machines don vintage graphics and riders showcase special edition retro gear – throwing racing back to the good old days.
The world class prepared Ranch MX venue at Raymond Terrace this weekend will see thousands of fans swamp to the track to see the riders battle it out in a completely new format stretching over Saturday and Sunday.
MX Nationals Series Promoter Kevin Williams today explained that the venue is well equipped to welcome thousands of motocross fans and the track will be prepared to a world class standard.
“The Pirelli MX Nationals is a very important event for not only the club, but also for the region. With Raymond Terrace back on the calander, hosting a national event of this size it will bring a staggering Three Hundred and fifty thousand dollars into the local region as well as keep the venue on the radar, and provides the sport in the area with fantastic national exposure”. shared Williams.
“We of course have a number of riders competing from Australia such as two time defending MX1 champion and current red plate holder Dean Ferris, but also international competitors from New Zealand such as Hamish Harwood, Kane Lamont and Rhys Carter which adds that extra level of depth to the racing and is fantastic for our series and for the local fans who are planning on coming out to watch the races this weekend” said Williams.

Throw in the action packed feature class, factory trucks, the excitement of RETRO ROUND and entertainment for the kids, and the fastest riders in the country, Round 6 of the Pirelli MX Nationals this weekend is an event not to be missed.
Sunday the 1st of July motocross fans will have the opportunity to witness history unfold at Retro Rounds 7 and 8 of the Pirelli MX Nationals at MX Ranch Raymond Terrace.
